This dramatic new painting measures 16 by 24 inches and shows in superb detail the final battle formation of the Clans on Culloden Moor, 16th. April, 1746. It is accompanied by a key or legend giving background information to where each regiment and Clan was positioned.The artist, Walter Holmes has made painstaking efforts to reproduce the scene exactly as it might have looked seconds before the final charge. Topographical details are as accurate as possible and weather conditions have been included.
